goodbye old friend....

the time has come... blogger and i have decided that while we had a good run, our relationship was just too taxing. we had ups and downs of course, like any relationship does, but in the end we felt like we could probably find someone we were better suited for. besides, it was rocky from the beginning-- the slow picture uploads, the terrible formatting, and the visual ugliness of the whole thing-- but i managed to see past his flaws and we made some beautiful memories. we've been together for over a year now, but we've been drifting apart for months... so in the end we decided to call it quits and we broke up.

i will have to say, i'll miss the familiarity and comfort of being with someone for quite a while, but truth be told... i'm in a new relationship. and it's new and exciting and fresh and simple to use with easy formatting and beautiful layouts and quick uploads and lighting fast update options. so while i'll miss the comfort of coming home and finding blogger waiting for me, i'm overjoyed by the prospect of having my new partner with me anywhere i go. (anytime of day or night, i can text or even call in posts!)

so there you have it.

i've moved in with tumblr.

yes, i know it's fast and sudden and spontaneous. but you know what? we're crazy about each other. you're welcome to come and visit, but just know that banana colors is going to be quite different from now on... but if you can accept me and my new love, we'd love to have you stop on by.
